Liverpool are rapidly closing in on a deal for Mohamed Salah, according to reports.

It emerged earlier today that Liverpool had reached an agreement to sign the winger for £35million.

The Reds initially tried to land the Egyptian international three years ago, but he spurned their advances to join Chelsea instead.

Having failed to make the grade at Stamford Bridge, the winger revitalised his career in Serie A.

After seeing an initial £28m bid rejected for the 24-year-old, the Anfield outfit have upped their bid and a move to bring Salah back to the Premier League appears to be imminent.

The Reds have already announced the signing of Dominic Solanke when the window officially opens on July 1.

The report says there shouldn’t be a problem negotiating personal terms for Salah, and it is believed he will earn around £90,000 a week.

It is said discussions will continue over the next few days and the player wants the move to happen.
