Reds make offer for Atletico Madrid left-back
Liverpool have made an offer to sign Atletico Madrid left-back Theo Hernandez, according to reports in Spain.
Cadena SER claim that Jurgen Klopp views the 19-year-old as the perfect candidate to solve his issues on the left side of Liverpool’s defence.
Hernandez has a €24million (£20.5m) release clause in his current deal with Atletico, while it’s reported that Liverpool have offered the France Under-20 international a contract worth five times his current salary with the Spanish club.
Hernandez is yet to make his senior debut for Atletico Madrid and is currently spending the season on loan at Alaves.
The Frenchman’s current contract with Atletico expires in 2021, while he has also attracted interest from Real Madrid.
